THE BRIEF
A new library building created to provide guests with a dedicated place for reading, meeting and spending time away from their accommodation.
THE RESPONSE
The building uses timber cladding, a broad pitched roof and generous glazed openings to create a warm, understated addition that sits comfortably among the park’s mature trees and landscaped grounds.
THE OUTCOME
The completed building provides a distinctive communal facility while retaining the quiet, informal character of its rural setting.*
